That’s how I left, in a thunderstorm

   My parents made it as easy as possible for me. It must have been far too much for them. But I can remember that I helped a little with packing the suitcase and that we could only take one suitcase. You probably know that. And my mother was doing it and saying this and that. And then I got the list which I still have. There was quite a lot of ‘adventure spirit’ when I was taken to the train. It was in the afternoon and there was a thunderstorm. And I’m not sure if there was rain, but there was thunder and lightning. And that’s how I left, in a thunderstorm.
