Dr. Klibansky had this brilliant idea
My father got to know about the Jawne in Cologne so he took me out of the Gymnasium in Moers and then enrolled me in the Jawne. Dr. Klibansky had this fantastic idea of not teaching to the German syllabus which led to the Abitur. Because the first law that the Nazis passed – you would think they had a lot of important things on their minds – but the first law that they passed what do you think it was – to stop Jews from going to universities. So Dr. Klibansky had this brilliant idea to completely change the direction of the upper class which was called English class because the instruction was in English and even when we did French we had to learn French in English.
