I did have enough credits – I made sure of that
In those days if you had enough credits then you were excused from the University Entrance Exam – you could go straight to any English university. This is what happened to me. I did have enough credits I made sure of that. I had a very good incentive so I got, I think, seven credits and that meant I could go to any English university. Of course, it was quite difficult to get a place at the university because it was already the beginning of the academic year. But I was helped and befriended by the family of one of the teachers who had taught us at the Jawne who had been imported by Dr. Klibansky. So I finished up in a college which was in Battersea. It was a part of London University.
