L.R.: We are so grown-up now. (Mrs Kahn and Mrs Robinson laugh.) In those days she was so much more grown up than us. No, we never had to quake in our boots in front of Feo. We had French with Feo, English with Dr Lüthgen.
A.S.: Were you always in contact with each other? L.R.: No, I lived in the south of England, and one day the refugee-people phoned me up and said, “There’s an old lady who lives near you, go and visit her some time.” So I did.
