L.R.: And she didn’t want to sit down. They all spoke, they all made speeches in honour of Feo and her son kept saying, “Do sit down, Mum!” “No, I won’t!” You were standing up the whole time when they were speaking. And the rabbi...You didn’t speak for long, just made a short speech. But there were five or six of us from the Yahneh.
Dr Kahn: There were others apart from Lore; whoever else was there? Siggy Reichenstein, from the Yavneh. Apart from Lore there was Siggi Reichenstein and Mr Marx.
L.R.: Kurt Marx and then three women. Ellen Lane, do you know her? There were several of us.
A.S.: Only from the photo, the one of children in our exhibition. What are relations like now? Of course in those days the relationship between teachers and pupils was very hierarchical.
