Oh, some Jewish boy

   My sister, who was also studying in Cologne, had a friend called Hans Jacobi, and he had a friend called Leo Kahn. And my sister used to go out in the evenings with Hans, and Leo was there too, and I wasn’t with them, that was out of the question, and when my sister came home, I asked, “Who exactly is this Leo Kahn?” My sister said, “Oh, some Jewish boy.” Yes, that’s how it began.
